A man with a big heart, Dinnie is renowned for his dedication to community service receiving multiple awards including; Seven Sharp’s ASB Good Sorts recipient, New Plymouth District Council Community Citizen’s recipient, and awarded and the 2019 Taranaki person of the Year for his outstanding contributions.

She is a mentor with Business Mentors NZ and the Mentoring Foundation, and is a Big Sister for Big Brothers big Sisters. When she is not working with businesses and community groups, she is working in her New Plymouth garden.
