New Zealand’s most established and recognised administrative award
The application criteria consists of an 'opening statement' and four questions, which forms the basis of the application.

The Administrative Professional of the Year is announced at the annual AdmiNZ Conference with the recipient receiving a prestigious trophy, framed certificate of achievement and various prizes along with the recognition of being one of New Zealand's top administrative professionals.
The award process
Your commitment to the administrative profession, along with your skills and professionalism will be recognised by an expert panel of judges comprising of industry specialists. Three semi-finalists will be announced and will move onto stage two of the award process. Details will be shared with the semi-finalists at the time of the announcement.
The Award is open to all administrative professionals throughout New Zealand.
All applicants must be employed in an administrative role and be committed to a career as an administrative professional.

Administrative professionals ‘make it happen’ in organisations globally, providing exceptional support through effective organisation, leadership and a customer-centered focus, which enhances the overall efficiency of an organisation. The Award recognises the professionalism and expertise of administrative professionals and acknowledges those who demonstrate a continued commitment to themselves and their organisation across the following areas: Leadership; Professional development; Operational efficiency; Contribution to the administrative profession.
